For one night only, Nightspot Cinema takes you back to Manchester's legendary night club with a special screening of 24 Hour Party People starring Steve Coogan followed by a Haçienda themed factory party in an underground secret venue with the Haçienda's very own resident DJ Graeme Park performing on the night

Tony Wilson: "It was like being on a fantastic fairground ride, centrifugal forces throwing us wider and wider. But it's all right, because there's this brilliant machine at the center that's going to bring us back down to earth. That was Manchester. That is the Hacienda. Now imagine the machine breaks. For a while, it's even better, because you're really flying. but then, you're fucked, because nobody beats gravity."

ABOUT THE FILM

Manchester, 1976. Tony Wilson (Steve Coogan) is an ambitious but frustrated local TV news reporter looking for a way to make his mark. After witnessing a life-changing concert by a band known as the Sex Pistols, he persuades his station to televise one of their performances, and soon Manchester's punk groups are clamoring for him to manage them. Riding the wave of a musical revolution, Wilson and his friends create the legendary Factory Records label and The Hacienda club

Rave your heart's out as we relive the era that brought us the legendary Factory Records with the iconic Graeme Park spinning classic House, Rave and more. 30 years on the decks and 20 years on the radio, nightspot cinema presents the pioneering Graeme park for one night only. This internationally acclaimed legendary DJ will authentically bring us back to Haçienda.

 A year has gone fast for Feelings seeing them takeover outdoor terraces, basements, pubs, strip clubs, festival stages and a church with some of the 20th century dance music greats including Ron Trent, DJ Alfredo, Nicky Siano and Timmy Regisford and pairing them with some of the current most exciting acts around, Tevo Howard, The Black Madonna, Dan Shake, Francis Inferno Orchestra, Bell Towers and more.

Nightspot Cinema is a pop-up cinema which combines musical film screenings with parties. We feature films about music; famous musicians or which have renowned musical scores and then immerse our audience into a party which is themed around the music and style of the film.

Our events are all about the history of modern music; ramping up that nostalgia to fever pitch, recapturing that scene and reliving it through film, party and banging tunes
